Item Design Contest!

Hello everyone. We have had many requests for more events and more contests! We hear your cries and are here to oblige!

Our first in a series of events, rewarded quests, and non-holiday-events will be the item design contest. It seems pretty self explanatory but here are the rules and guidelines just to make sure!

Have you ever imagined what a certain item you have in real life would look like on your avatar? Do you have a fantasy that you would LOVE to see on your little virtual you? Here is your chance to make it reality! Don’t miss it!

The Info:

• Items submitted should be a sketch scanned in to the computer or a sketch done on paint or something, maybe even a real life item submitted. We would prefer that you not do pixel base edits, let our artists do that for you! If you would like to submit a pixel edit you may always do so in the Item Suggestion Forum.
• One item will be chosen, not an entire set. We may choose and accessory item to compliment your item, or split your single item in to two if it fits the bases better that way, but please put all your effort in to a single item!
• Try to be extra creative. We have quite a few wings, so if you are thinking “wings” think EPIC WINGS!
• 3 Entries are allowed per user.
• Entries will be judged by a council of admins, mods, and site artists. We choose this instead of having the user’s vote because since we have a very small amount of active users, we don’t believe it would be fully fair. Also, we want to make sure that the artists will be able to make the selected item without any issues.
• All ideas should be submitted in this thread!

Contest ends March 1st so make sure you have everything you want to submit submitted before that date! Judging will begin on March 2nd and will end as soon as we have a fair amount of votes.

an important note is that you will NOT be judged on art quality! You will be judged on your idea. A stick figure and swirly lines would work for a magical scarf!
Don't be intimidated.
You may label your illustration to give verbal detail if you are not able to display visual detail.

Yeah, I designed it for a contest there, lost, and still want to see the item SOMEWHERE but I have so little artistic skill, it took me like a week to draw it xD So I couldn't do it for another site.

You really only see the top half of their base (And hair) and then the bottom is my suggestion.

I'mma see if I have it on my laptop right now.

Trust me when I say I don't mean to be rude, but are they supposed to be tentacles or some kind of skirt? ^ ^;
The first thing I would have looked at is a file name, but your link doesn't show it, and there's no text on the image to clearly state what it is. owo;

If they are tentacles, it's seems like a pretty generic idea to me, so I'd say it's okay, but you should make a different sketch or pull from reference images online (to give a sense of textures, colors, and whatnot).

If it's supposed to be a skirt of some kind, I'd say it could probably be a bit more developed?
It seems like a beginning stage idea that could be worked on to be more interesting and unique. owo
