Alexander sighed softly, glancing at the clock, then at the students in the classroom, then back to the tests in front of him. "Alright class, put down your pens, time's up." He said, getting up and gathering their tests and putting them on his desk next to the ones he'd corrected. The male picked up the corrected ones before handing them out and going back to his desk.

"Okay, I want you all to read the copy of the book you were given, try finishing it before to next time I see you here." The blond sat back down behind the desk. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go, it's time." He said. "Ah, Caden, could you please stay a little longer?" He asked before looking down to the pieces of paper on the desk.

Caden mumbled under his breath as he waited for all the students to exit the room. He remained seated as he looked ahead at Alexander with blank eyes. He wondered what he could possibly want today. It seemed to be a reoccuring thing lately staying after to talk to him. His stuff was already packed neatly away in his bag and sat neatly on the floor beside him.


"You wanted me"



The statement flowed smoothly from his lips.

"Hm?" Alexander looked up, seeming to snap out of a daze. "Right, you're failing this class, again." He said, sounding somewhat disappointed as he got up, walking over to him and sitting on top of a desk. "Please, tell me why? Is this class not interesting enough for you? Am I too boring to pay attention to?" He asked, raising a brow and looking at the student, expecting an answer.

Caden's blank expression broke with his lopsided smile. This wasn't the first time the teacher kept him after class to talk about his failing and he certainly wasn't the only teacher. Caden shrugged. He knew that if he wanted to he could pass all of his classes with flying colors. He's been around long enough to know about almost everything they teach. The newest assignment was already done he had already read the book that Alexander wanted him to but he wasn't planning on doing the assignment either.


He didn't really have an answer for Alexander so he remained quiet his thoughts churning for an answer.

Alexander growled in the back of his throat, this kid was really annoying him now. He went back to the front of the classroom, to keep himself busy and most of all not to react his anger on Caden. He muttered something to himself before sitting down on his chair and sighing. "Look kid, either you pass the classes or you fail...For all of them." The blond said, not looking back at him.

Caden raised an eyebrow interested in Alexander's sudden reaction and the slight tremor that would go undetected by any normal person. Caden however wasn't normal...


"I know this sir."



He answered cooly rising from his seat gracefully picking up his bag by the shoulder strap and slinging it over his shoulder he headed to the door.



"I will try harder next time"



He half lied.

"Sit back down. You're not going anywhere until I get that answer Caden." Alexander said with a glare as he looked at him now. He wasn't joking around and the other wouldn't leave the classroom until he had it or there would be consequences.

Caden sighed and leaned against the door frame crossing his leg over the other and taking dead aim at Alexander.


"I don't really have an answer to give you."

He said rather bluntly.

"Well, then, you are going to sit back down and think about it." Alexander said, a low growl rising up from his throat as he glared at the male, crossing his arms over his chest again.
